The Company’s Origins
Dalla Riva Sportfloors was founded in 1982 by Luigino Dalla Riva, who began working in a small artisan workshop in Treviso, initially carrying out minor parquet repairs. Over time, he shifted his focus to sanding, planing, and varnishing with different finishes—foundational skills that led to the specialization in wooden sports flooring.

Growth and Development of Sports Flooring
A few years after its founding, the Montebelluna-based company began specializing in wooden sports flooring—a field still relatively unexplored at the time.
At the beginning of the 2000s the company went through a phase of consolidation, moving to its current headquarters in Vicolo Boccacavalla in Montebelluna. Here it has 500 m2 of offices and over 1,000 m2 of warehouse, which constitute the operational heart of Dalla Riva Sportfloors.
From the start, our in-house technical team has played a key role in our growth. Flawless installation and ongoing support became our greatest strengths. Over the years, we have continuously improved our flooring systems with the goal of maximizing athletic performance. Since 2004, Dalla Riva has been an associated partner of FIBA (International Basketball Federation), a relationship that evolved into official technical partner status.

Looking to the Present and the Future
In 2018, Dalla Riva Sportfloors made another significant leap forward, moving to its current facility in Via Vittime del Vajont 7, Caerano di San Marco (TV). This modern headquarters, equipped with state-of-the-art offices and a large warehouse, is now the beating heart of the company.
International expansion continues to grow steadily, with more and more installations outside of Italy each year—further proof of the widespread appreciation for the quality and reliability of our wooden sports flooring.
