Elasticity and safety: the perfect volleyball floor
An important renovation project has been completed at the Municipal Sports Hall of Fontanafredda (PN), where Dalla Riva was entrusted with the removal and replacement of the existing sports floor.
The previous doussié wood flooring, lacking certification and elasticity, was removed and replaced with a new self-leveling screed.
We then supplied and installed 800 m² of Playwood Rubberwood 22, made of solid hevea wood, featuring 55% shock absorption — a fundamental requirement for a sport like volleyball, characterized by high jumps and dynamic landings.
The installation features a striking full-court color finish with central volleyball markings, two cross-court volleyball layouts, and colored side zones for basketball.
The result is a visually impactful, highly elastic surface designed to ensure safety, comfort, and professional-level performance.
The entire operation was perfectly planned and executed on schedule by our in-house technicians, to the great satisfaction of the local volleyball club.
